There are many different ways to insulate buildings, and there are dozens of types of insulation materials. Today we will focus on extruded polystyrene foam. The material offered by our company is pink in color and has the trade name Fombord. It is produced by “<\/strong>Izocam“<\/strong> .<\/span> <\/p>\n

Foamboard is available in the form of plates <\/span>with different thickness and density. The surface can be smooth or rough. The material also has different compressive strength, depending on the purpose.<\/span><\/p>\n

P<\/span>roduction quality<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

It is produced in the factories<\/span> of “<\/strong><\/span>Izocam“<\/strong>,<\/span> which have the quality management system ISO 9001, the environmental management system ISO 14001,<\/span> the<\/span> occupational health and safety management systems OHSAS 18001 and the energy management certificates ISO 50001<\/span> issued by<\/span> Bureau Veritas;<\/span><\/p>\n

Excellen<\/span>t compressive strength characteristics<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The material has high compressive strength. It is required if the material is applied to: flat roofs, concrete floors, foundations, etc.;<\/p>\n

Excellent<\/span> thermal insulation properties<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The material <\/span> has excellent thermal insulation layers. <\/span> The declared thermal conductivity of <\/span> the material <\/span> is \u03bb \u2264 0.035 W \/ mK (at 10\u02daC);<\/span> <\/p>\n

Closed cell structure<\/span><\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

Foamboard has a 100% closed cell structure that repels water. The material has no capillary absorption. <\/span><\/strong>The coefficient<\/span><\/strong> of resistance to diffusion of water vapor<\/span><\/strong> is<\/span><\/strong> \u03bc = 90 \u2013 100<\/span><\/strong>;<\/p>\n

Easy installation<\/span><\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

The<\/span><\/strong>material is light, easy to transport, cut and install. It is resistant to decay, has no smell and does not irritate the skin;<\/span><\/p>\n

Reaction<\/b><\/span> to fire class<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

The reaction to fire class is E according to<\/span> TS EN 13501-1.<\/span><\/p>\n
