 The produce EPS is form of rigid boards, with homogeneous and stable foam with closed cell structure. It is applicable in construction for insulation of walls, floors, roofs, with minimal water absorption with high compressive strength and long-lasting insulation properties.

Extruded polystyrene (XPS) is a thermal insulation material, made of polystyrene made of polystyrene, and derivative of petroleum, by using the extrusion method.

Types EPS and their application:

·         XPS smooth boards – it is used to insulation of walls, under and above the base plate, flat roofs, industrial floors. It has high shear stability, moisture stability, excellent thermal insulation properties.

·         XPS figured boards – it is used to the area of the socket, insulation of external walls inside of thermal bridges.

·         The XPS boards are offered in straight edge and a stepped edge - suitable for overlap. The Declared Thermal Conductivity λ is from 0,035 to 0,038. XPS is offered in 20-200 mm thickness. 

The material is characterized by:

-          low water absorption and moisture absorption.

-          high mechanical strength and dimensional stability

-          high compressive strength

-          hard combustible
