Facade paint “Kale Silikonatex”
Water-soluble, elastic paint based on acrylic emulsion. It does not crack, with the addition of silicone, it covers surface defects thanks to its relief structure.
“Kale Silikona” is ideal for:
• External mineral surfaces such as: concrete, plaster, cement panels, on painted ones that have been painted before. It can also be applied as an interior paint for decorative purposes.
• Elastic; it covers thin cracks on the surface and is resistant to the movement of the building. Retains elasticity at low temperatures.
• Waterproof – the rain slides over the painted surface without wetting the facade.
• High vapor permeability – allows the building to breathe.
• Long-lasting, resistant to UV rays, heat and frost, retains its properties for years without cracking and fading.
• Thanks to its relief, it covers defects on the surface.
• Alkali resistant.
• Solvent-free and odorless.
• Water-soluble ecological paint.
Technical data (at 23°C and 50% RH)
Colors: It is colored from base A, B or C according to the Renk Bankası or the Renk Ustası systems.
Composition: based on acrylic emulsion.
Diluent: water.
Relief: depending on the roller.
Density: approximately 1.63 gr/cm³.
Application temperature range: (+5°C) – (+35°C).
Drying time: Second coat application – after 6 hours, complete drying – after 24 hours. Low temperatures or high humidity will prolong the drying process.
Consumption rate: Depending on how smooth the base is, how it absorbs and what the desired relief is – 0.400 – 0.660 l/m2 (700 – 1000 gr./m²)
Laying tools: brush, roller, sprayer.
Check that the air and surface temperature is above 5°C. It must not rain during laying or for the next 24 hours after laying. Do not apply the paint in extremely hot weather, direct sunlight, during strong wind, fog, high relative humidity, rain or cold. If the surface is hot, moisten it before laying. The paint is not suitable for laying on horizontal surfaces exposed to rain or moisture. In order to avoid obtaining differences in shades, use products with the same batch number. If products with different lot numbers are used, the entire required amount must be mixed before laying. To avoid getting overlaps in large areas, during work stoppages, use paper tapes or hire a sufficient number of workers.
Storage: Store in unopened containers at a temperature between 5ºC and 35ºC.
Packaging: 2.5 l and 15 l buckets.
