Cement board “Knauf Aquapanel Outdoor”
“Outdoor” cement boards are composed of mineral components (keramsite and perlite), a binder (portland cement) and a covering layer of portland cement and reinforcing fiberglass mesh. The transverse edges are cut vertically. The longitudinal resistant edge (Easy Edge®) is wrapped with a mesh that is embedded in the cement building board to achieve additional reinforcement and allow simplified joint processing. Knauf AQUAPANEL® surfaces are manufactured and controlled in accordance with European Technical Approval ETA-07/0173, issued by the Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik on 10.06.2008.
