Silicate translucent paint “Jub Decor Antique”
Antique is a silicate paint for interior and exterior use that does not contain harmful ingredients for the environment. It is made on the basis of water glass and organic additives. It is used for decorative treatment of facade and interior fine or rough wall surfaces. Special paint application techniques give the surfaces a rough look.
Antique is ideal for:
– Indoor and outdoor use.
• Alkali resistant.
• High water resistance.
• With vapor permeability.
• Good resistance to atmospheric pressures.
Surface: The surface must be hard, dry and clean, free of dust or loosely adhered particles, and free of grease stains or other dirt. Suitable surfaces: mainly new – non-carbonized and old – carbonized lime and lime-cement plasters. Unsuitable surfaces: all surfaces with limestone and oil-based paints, as well as for lacquered or enameled coatings, as well as surfaces made of plastic materials. Not recommended for the protection of external surfaces made of concrete.

Technical data:Consumption rate: – first coat: approx. 100 ml/m2, – each subsequent coat: approx. 60 ml/m2; Density: approx. 1.02 kg/l; μ-value: <300; Sd-value (EN ISO 7783-2): 0.5 N/mm2; Water absorption w24 (EN 1062-3): <0.2 kg/m2h0.5 class 2 – medium water absorption ; To dry before second application (T: +20 ºC, relative humidity: 65 %): minimum 12 hours; Protection against rain wetting: approx. 24 hours ; External appearance: matt. Preparation and application: Cover a cleaned surface with a suitable primer before painting. First mix well and dilute with water to a thickness corresponding to the application technique and the conditions. Dilute with JUBOSIL GX up to 50%. Apply the paint with a brush, roller, cloth, sponge, even with a rag, etc. Cleaning of working tools: wash the tools with water.
Consumption per m²: 100ml for the first layer; 60ml for each subsequent layer.
