Concrete paint “Takril”
“Takril” is an environmentally friendly paint based on a water dispersion of acrylic compounds, fillers, pigments and special additives. It is used for decorative protection of concrete and other cement-related surfaces in closed rooms such as basements and boiler rooms, warehouses, closets and the like. Not suitable for garage floor protection. It can be used as a coating for decorative protection of concrete facade and interior walls.
“Takril” is ideal for:
– Concrete and other cement related surfaces indoors.
– Alkali resistant.
– Highly water repellent.
– Weather resistant.
– High resistance value to CO2 diffusion.
– Resistant to short term attack by soluble acids and alkalis.
– Wear and tear resistant.
– Good adhesion.
– Meets EN 1504-2 requirements as a coating for decorative protection of vertical concrete surfaces.
Color shades: 10 shades from the JUB color card for concrete paints; JUMIX: – from the JUB color chart.
Consumption rate: 180 – 200 ml/m2 in two coats; Density: approx. 1.35 kg/l; μ-value: < 3000 ; Sd-value (EN ISO 7783-2): < 0.25 m ; Water absorption w24 (EN 1062-3): 2 N/mm2;
Surface: Suitable surfaces: concrete surfaces, cement plasters or those resilient and reinforced with cement, such as fibre-cement boards. It is possible to lay over well-adhered old dispersion coatings applied to the specified surfaces. Unsuitable surfaces: new lime and lime-cement plasters; surfaces painted with limestone-based paints; and surfaces made of plastic.
Preparation and application: Before painting, cover the cleaned surface with a suitable primer. It is applied by roller, brush or can be sprayed. Cleaning tools: clean tools with water immediately after use.
Consumption per m²: 200 ml.
Packaging: 0.75l, 5l, 16l plastic box.
Storage: 18 months in original sealed and undamaged packaging, in a dry, ventilated and dark place at a temperature of +5 °C to +25 °C. It should not freeze. Do not expose to direct sunlight.
